I think in general there is a hesitation and a fear to truly take a wild swing so I would argue that most companies do not put significant resources you know beyond one percent of their resources towards something that is not in their eyes a sure thing. A wild swing does not mean that you're spending in a responsible amount of money on something it just means that you're allowing real variation and real emergence to occur. You're basically saying like you know what let's let that guy down on the third floor keep inventing this AWS thing. Let's play that out right and that's how you end up having what might be the you know tenth most valuable business in the world soon grow inside a bookstore
