The Politics of Choice in the Eighties

The relationship between the political classes and the b b c has long been a running issue on both sides. Was this a newly heightened version of that relationship? Had it now changed into something that it hadn't been before? I think it was newly heightened in the sense that it was more, more visible. It was more open. And i think it was so, in a sense, heightened because the stakes mattered even more at this stage.
