The G7 Is Not Going to Work for the President

When the president left, when do you realize that the G7 was the G7 looming was not going to work for him? And it wasn't just about scheduling. You got to go to the G7 to hammer out the priorities of Ukraine funding and certainly countering China's economic influence. So I think he tried to make the best of it by shortening his trip and doing the Quad Summit on the sidelines of the G7. That's actually a really big loss. We might see some regret over that at some point.
