The Evolution of Apes

Our ancestors were kind of an ape like animal that was the ancestor of apes and humans. And they were living in Africa at a time when there was global cooling, not global warmingglobal cooling was happening. The polar ice caps were growing. And the sea levels were falling. What happened was these ancestral apes were these apes were living in tropical rainforest. They were eating fruit. But as it got cooler around 50 million years ago, there wasn't enough fruit all year round. So there was a few months where there would be no fruit and they started starving during that time because they weren't used to eating other foods.
