A transplant is somebody who basically wasn't born and raised in that area, so they came in. And it's actually more common for people to be transplants in new york near it than to actually have been born and raised here. Everyone kind of moves to new york to make it right. They have some dream often sometimes. Or maybe that's just a cliche.
