Every chapter in the book starts with this really imaginative, kind of, like a scenario. It was helping the reader create a figure they can kind of empathize with in future. So i literally describe spagna mosses and and small lakes and peep bogs. I talk about this farmer fishing it a nearby lake, catching pike. There's a beaver swimming around. But then she gets sad, you know, because, ah, she recalls that they 're all these fresh water seals that used to live there before they became extinct there.
