The Challenges of Pentesting an Airplane

CNN's John Defterios went to a bonyard and got his hands dirty, literally. Most airplanes are owned by finance companies; they get broken up when the cost of parts exceeds the cost of the airframe. An airplane that's 10 years old is still not quite state of the art, but it's still very, very current. But lots of those airplanes are still flying with exactly the same components in them. The newest 747 we worked on has been 27 years old, but we worked on an A320 and a Boeing 737 that were just over 10 years old.
