The Romanesque Shrine in Saint Melanget
There was a shrine in saint melangas that contained fragments of the bone of melangeth and itsit was a romanesque shrine, so a bit like, if you think of a very, very narrow church in miniature. When the reformation came, order came to saint melanget, saying, sorry, this is far too catholic, far too popish,. Not having shrines, not having healing, not having relics, not having any of that nonsense. Anyl smash it, get rid of it. So what they decided to do was they dismantled it section by section, and they hid it in the north wall of the church and then plastered over it.
