The Importance of a Church Letter

I went to college in the 1980s, when there were a lot of different rules about what you could and couldn't do at church. I gave up any kind of covering; started wearing jeans and pants. It was an instant trust that comes with this community because we're either related or don't know each other. When I first started writing poetry, I didn't think I could lie but now I try not to as it makes me feel like one of them.
