i think a lot of us took the assumption that maybe it started in the sixties. But progressives intentionally started to tinker, an experiment with the idea of school they thought if they could create new types of schools. The bell ringing social studies pledge of allegiance without under god in it. There's a lot of things inserted. So they could remove more traditional values, biblical values, and begin their project of capturing the mind of our kids.
