Do Unto Others as You Would Like to Do to You
The golden rule and the ten commandments are imperfect, but they help us a little bit. They give us some sort of guide lines which direction we want to go in our moral system. But do they help us? I mean, if the argument is, ah, our morality comes from another level. Our morality is, as you say, bottom up. And it's somewhat confusing if i get told we'll actually know this is tied to this,. maybe this veneer idea and sin and all the rest. In fact, we're evil. Were sinners, ere, lousy people. We have to be told the difference between right and wrong.
