The Role of Geography in the Genetics of Pets
The gene flow is constrained by geography, which is what you would expect. And that could be a signal of humans bringing in their pets from outside as people show up at Chernobyl city. So for me, it kind of raised the question: Is there actually like a Chernobyl breed of dog? Yeah. But all poodles have sort of a very specific level of relatedness to each other.
