The intra-laminar nuclei of thalamus that you target also with your target are the only ones that project to the striatum. And I think they also protect diffusedly to almost entire neocortex. In principle, I am against implanting four leads at a time and to see, okay, which is the best one. It sounds a little bit too experimental to my ears.
