I think he solidified his position after Yapainikus left. There were talks of him becoming the sporting director, but he did not have a role as such if I remember correctly when Yapainiks was there. He's pretty much assumes that role for the Canadian national team as well and it's very nice to see their progression. It was nice to see them involved in the world cup, albeit not fairing particularly too well, but I don't know how much that did his mind on the pitch. Regardless of all of that, like, I don't think for me, personal situation.
