Why timed mixed puzzles helped

This week on Chess Journeys, I spoke with Wade. We discussed his journey which saw him rise from 1150 - 1700 in 3 years. We discussed his favorite resources, which include Chess Tempo mix. We focused quite a bit on tournament play, and Wade’s anxieties surrounding these events. Wade provided a number of resources for improvement, as well as bringing a great attitude towards learning and chess in general.
