Coaches need to develop the skill of connecting, developing the skill of relationship building. For example, we call connections with one another gold mines cause they're valuable. We teach our athletes how to mine for gold. Mining is going to build on curiosity. The largest abundance of gold could be in that path. Just like a gold miner, if you went down a path and there was no gold there, what would you do? You ly walk out of the path and go down a different one.
