Queen Elizabeth II's State Visit to the Republic of Ireland
The late queen elizabeth the second made an official state visit to ireland in 20 11. The irish foreign minister, simon coveney, had served as ministerial escort for her on that trip. He's joining us from his native city of cork and he'll be joined by a number of other dignitaries who have been paying their respects this week. Simon Coveney: I think it really is, in a very british way, an extraordinary send off for an extraordinary person.
