The Legend of Kutuyang

Kutuyang is considered one of the great figures in Mongolian history. Her many brothers challenged her position as heir when their father died. She may have clung to power for a time, but one of her brothers was appointed to be the Great Khan instead. But although she lost her position, no one remembers Kutuyang as a loser.
