[video available on spotify] when i was about 12 years old, i read a quote by john lennon that said “when i went to school, they asked me what i wanted to be when i grew up. i wrote down happy. they told me i didn't understand the assignment, and i told them they didn't understand life.” from that point forward, anytime anyone would ask me, emma, what do you wanna be when you grow up? i would answer happy. and so today i thought we would investigate happiness because it's a word that we use so often, but we rarely take a minute to step back and ask ourselves, what actually is this? how do we truly acquire this feeling? so let's investigate it together today.
