Alabama Republicans Defy the Supreme Court in an Effort to Suppress the Black Vote
Alexis McGill Johnson: Alabama Republicans appear to be defying the Supreme Court in a political power play that evokes some of the worst abuses of the civil rights era. She says GOP lawmakers went ahead with a map that's almost as bad as the original one, and it's in direct defiance of the Supreme Court's order. "We're playing out the long game, but part of that long game really means that we have to, you know, fight state by state," she says.
