The Effects of Democracy on US Foreign Policy
If we all die due to the war in Ukraine it's going to be because that doesn't count for anything in terms of how American foreign policy is made in practice. Bush started setting up procedures by which people could be held outside of any normal judicial systems that people could be assassinated by drones in countries that we're not at war with etc I think that was a bad thing. My favorite stat about the 2020 election is that Trump won Florida but the $15 minimum wage won by a lot more than Trump did in Florida or you can look at what happened just as an extreme example.
