The Disadvantages of Momentum

Stocks have fallen 50% roughly or more up top to bottom three times in the last 42 years. The Japanese Nikkei index was almost at 40,000 25 years ago and now it's like 16,000 It's still down at least in price only well over 50%. People make the mistake that's called the triumph of the optimist by thinking stocks can't do poorly for 25 years and still be down. You should never make the mistake I call treating me unlikely as impossible so with that said what do you do well? Make sure you know your history making sure you don't take more risk than ability willingness and need to take then get the right equity allocation.
