The Stonewall Uprising - Storm De Lavier
Storm de lavier is famous, slash infamous, for being part of the stone wall uprising. There are many varied accounts of what actual happen to start the stonewall uprising. I don't know if this story is true, but what i find interesting about both those narratives is that stormy de lavier had the skills to pass to certain groups as a sisgender man. So instead of just blending, de lavier looked queer enough to be targeted by a police. And these audiences would be shocked. The black audiences in the black spaces were not socked. The queer audiences in the queer spaces were not shocked, because they recognized she was doing this counter identification queer butchness
