"I had a lot of identity issues all sort of happening at the same time and wanting to rebuild my relationship with my father who was in the Navy," he says. "Even within that story there are all sorts of red flags to me but it suggests that you're actually perhaps one of the most unsuitable people I could possibly think of to actually go and serve in the US Army in Iraq."
