The White House Is Chastising the White House for Shifting Interpretations
The court said judges in a constitutional democracy have a role to play to make sure the constitution is applied. The people whose lives were disrupted by the travel band have due process rights that it looks like the executive order violates. And for now, the court said it was better to freeze the situation in place before the travel band went into effect.
