The Earl of Kent and Rogers Arrogance
Earl of Kent, Eberd the second's younger half brother and therefore the young king's uncle, is well. On a charitable explanation, he's entrapped by Roger Mortimer into believing that his brother is alive. He leads a campaign to try and discover where he is, and it ends up with him being executed for treason in 1330. I think both Ian and Catherine Warner and others who have written on this recently have quite convincingly demonstrated that Edward Earl of Kent is not some fool.
