Inventing the way of thinking about the future that we, in a sense, they still think about the future with. Victorian futures are overwhelmingly technological. You travel in electric cars, you fly around in electrical flying machines. If I had to sum up the Victorian future in just a couple of words, it would be electricity and flying machines.
