The Life and Times of William Sloan, Jr.
William Sloan, Coffin Jr. was a prominent figure in the civil rights movement. An American blue blood, his family traced themselves back to the first pilgrims. He would attend Yale Divinity and become the chaplain at his alma mater, Andover.
