I don't mean to get off topic here, but i, again, i in one of my favorite books. It's on my reading list when we get it together, his man search for meaning, by victor frank. The book is obviously titled, mans search for meaning. He talks about all the things they did to them, you know, shoes with no soles or laces while working in the freezing, cold weather and in rags. They would deliberately run into the electric fence. And he said, once they lost hope, there was no saving them ever. You couldn't get them off the plank to work.
