"I felt like I was slamming out my brakes and everybody's really nice," she says. "It wasn't, it wasn't the fairy tale that sort of like the New York moved to New York, Wisconsin,. Like, you know, movie boy with a dream." The move from Brooklyn to Portland took two years for her to get used to after living there for 10 years.
