The Incas and the Mice at Kilimanjaros
Scientists have sequenced DNA from the remains of a leopard found on Kilimanjaros. They were able to use radiocarbon dating to identify them as mice, phylotus. The study was inspired by Ernest Hemingway's "The Mothman Prophecy" John Defterios: We're just in our infancy when it comes to understanding genetic diversity around us.
