The Importance of Left Radial Access
The jury seems split on this when I talk to other colleagues is whether, and we are assuming that everyone's doing left arm or left radial access. How do you, how do you position your patient? Do you like arm down the side arm out? Maybe, you know, arm slightly AB ducted. Well, youknow, left radial is definitely the default. If you're going below the diaphragm, I do sometimes use the right radial. You know, right arm sometimes when we do bone embolization, the humerus, if it's the right arm, but it's very rare.
