British tourism is a sort of paradoxical double edge on the one hand it's the search for privacy. British are always looking for somewhere untrodden we love the idea that we're having a small adventure somewhere where no one else has been. There was certainly a feeling among the upper classes that their territory was being invaded and I think you know it's a feeling that happens now isn't it.
