The Role of the Back for in the Game
Mauricio Pochettino's side have played in a variety of formations so far this season. The 4231 seems to be the default setup, but there are also 3133 and 3331 shapes too. We've seen two center backs supported by two full backs who are very aggressive. Andres Santos and Cesare Casade play together as an engine room duo. I will have six attackers in the attacking third for Porchitino - he wants to play vertical football. So we'll continue to see over the next run of games that decide we'll continued to be challenged by some of the conditions related to the weather influencing or impacting the intensity that that brings.
