The article from 1975 really presages the indexing argument to be made 40 plus years later. Individuals should not be investing in mutual funds without being aware of how tough it is to be a successful mutual fund manager if you're an active investor. It's hard. Got to think a long time. And I don't get back to driving. Just be sure you're not headed towards Miami.
