i wonder if you can give us a sense of what living through this time period was like for those who did, the families in ireland em who experienced this period of famine. Every single case is going to be different, and it will be impossible to generalize. Even if people survived, they would have been very draumatized by what they had seen. After five years, it must have seemed like it would never ever end. So again, what would you do to survive? Would you steal? Would you emigrate? Would you change your religion? I don't know, but having all those moral decisions and dilemmas must have been awful.
