Agriculture has been an analogy for eugenics and for breeding humans since republic. Richard dawkins, last year said in one of his a well regarded twiegs that if this works for roses or sheep or goats, then why wouldn't it work for humans? i deal with that question at the end of the book, because it's a decent question to ask.
