Joseph's got plural wives, and just recently was sealed to another plural wife. And emma doesn't know about some of these marriages, but i do think that he's very sincere in this reflection. You can sense that while he's isolated, he's trying to bring people close to him through memory and through writing down their names. He's telling his he's telling william clayton to record these people's names. The book is called the book of the law of the lord.
