There would certainly be a different dynamic in the city if that was the case. The Johnson campaign got a lot of mileage out of running these tapes of Valus appearing on right-wing radio shows saying he's more of a Republican than a Democrat. And what Brandon Johnson is pledging to do is, as I mentioned, these investments in social services rather than a punitive approach to public safety.
