Unified Push Notifications: A Major Vector of Data Leakage
If you're genuinely concerned about privacy, you have to realize that push notifications are a major vector of data leaking. There's not a lot you can do here, but there is a really fantastic open source project called unified push unified push.org. And more and more apps are developing support for this podverse. The GPL podcasting to the app is actively working on integrating unified push support.
