The Privacy Concerns of Health Apps
An analysis of 27 top-brand mental health apps from the Google Play Store. Often, you know, unnecessary permissions are requested, which are not necessarily required for the app to provide its functionality. We also found that personal data and credentials were actually being leaked through logs and web requests. So this creates an interesting problem in itself that we are increasingly reliant on these apps.
