Running Without Music - Is There a Balance?

I would embrace the benefits without necessarily trying to convince yourself that you're going to like it. Some people just, if you're not persuaded that it can benefit you, then that's fine. Just start with a couple sessions per week when you go music free and see if you can acquire a taste for it. And then sort of like if you've never run without music to go back to that extreme scenario, well, then any amount is more than you've done in the past. But there are benefits to so doing. So like, you know, ease into it. You have a right to enjoy the sport.
