I don't use the term wilderness, but o want to see very large scale re wilding. I think it could be our only last hope. Unless we can restore eco systems on a huge scale, we really have very little hope of stopping the sixth great extinction and also of stopping climate breakdown. We've now left it too late. Merely to de carbonize our economies will ceed one point five, probably two degrees of global heating - even if we totally decarbonize all the industrial economy.
