What Have Children Been Doing if They Can't Go to School?
Almost every country closed school buildings in the spring of 20 20, but there have been enormous differences in how long they've kept them shut. The biggest failures are in latin america and south asia, where during the first two years some 80% of school days were disrupted. In the philippines, maybe two thirds of children have not been back to the classroom,. And in places such as mexico, schools are technically open, but there are still many children who are preferring to learn remotely than to go back to the class room.
