Hekatee's Daughter Was Abducted by Hades
Demeter was hired to look after a new baby boy, and partially because she liked the kid, she decided to make him immortal. Part of that process was anointing him, with an nectar of ambrosia, and burying him nightly in the fire. The mother surprised Demeter one night, as the goddess was heaping hot coals on the baby, and the mother was pretty upset about this. When it comes to which strangers you should let watch your child slash bury them in fire, I'm going to be safe and say mythological creatures don't deserve such treatment. Bye.
