The Witches of Bitterford
Bitterford is the real powder keg in the late seventeenth century. It's a place, though, where the rich are getting richer and the poor are essentially getting poorer. Societis being more stratified and charity is breaking down. The problems that are boiling away originate in poverty,. In the reputations a number of women get in bidderford for being involved in the dark arts. And they get a name for themselves as being witches.
