The Diversity of Scots in the Middle Ages

Scotland is more diverse than we think, in the mediaeval and early modern period. A great many people are effectively in a clan, in a clan family of one sort or another. But they may have very different sorts of relationship with that family. The whole aira is less affected by the flux attendant on climate change.
