The CIA Concludes That Russia Attempted to Sabotage an American Presidential Election
I wonder if there's a way of looking at all of this, where there's potentially absolutely nothing wrong with these communications. Or is it inherently problematic for people on a presidential campaign or close to it to be talking to a country like Russia? There are any number of explanations that we have to try to get to the bottom of. We do think that it is significant and worthwhile to note that these conversations did happen and then try to go from there.
