The Cost of a User Conference

I think companies need to figure out how to how to do this on an ongoing basis. And at large organizations, it can be a challenge. I personally would would go for the on going. It gets me into a cadence of producing content consistently as an organization. and then you can build on that. The part where i don't know how to gauge this is that for a conference like this, it's ten thousand dollars,. they say you get thousands of people to signd up. But whenis ten k, which i feel like a lot of these conferences are justifying this cost?
