The Biden Administration's Plan to Restore Title 42
When President Biden took office in 2021, even though he overturned some of Trump's immigration policies, Title 42 stayed. In April 2022, the Biden administration did say we want to roll back Title 42. But a judge said, you can't do that. And it kind of gave me whiplash because you could see the administration using Title 42 as a tool, but then also recognizing it would have to be rolled back at some point. Well, so I think their idealism crashed with reality, right?
